On January 20th, 2023 the Women In Manufacturing South Carolina organization paid a visit to our facility in Cowpens to learn more about our company and how we manufacture our roller shade fabric. We were delighted to welcome a group of 13 women, all of whom work or have worked in the manufacturing industry, to the Mermet plant. 

Our Marketing Manager, Holly Bridwell, kicked off the visit with an engaging presentation about our company and the products we produce. From marketing to materials, Holly shared all about our products and what makes us unique compared to others in our industry. We then opened the floor for questions and conversation. After that, it was time to take the tour to the warehouse!

Our Commercial Business Manager, Rob Beals, took the ladies on a tour through production to see our manufacturing process and how we make our fabrics, from start to finish. These ladies of WiM observed first-hand what our warehouse team members do every day to make our roller shade fabric. With a product of the utmost quality like ours, every little detail in the manufacturing process is critical and the group saw just that. Throughout the tour, the group was able to ask questions and witness our process in action. We ended the tour with final questions and swag bags to take home.
